On the announced Competition for the allocation of grants to projects of associations in the field of non-institutional education of children and youth in the school year 2023/2024 the Society “Our children” Opatija submitted the project “Sustainable cities – with children and for children”.
The goal of the project is to develop and improve activities that contribute to strengthening the competences and raising the awareness of children members of the children’s council and children’s forum and children of regional schools for the development of sustainable local communities with an emphasis on the active participation of children. The project is implemented with the support of the Ministry of Science and Education.
The beneficiaries of the project are: councilors of the 14th convocation of Children’s City Council of the City Opatija, members of Children’s forum Lovran, students of the lower grades of regional schools “Rikard Katalinić Jeretov” Opatija – Ičići, Veprinac and regional schools Viktora Cara Emina Lovran – “Eugen Kumičić” Mošćenička Draga.
The project “Sustainable city – with children and for children” is implemented with the support of the Ministry of Science and Education. The content of workshops and publications are the sole responsibility of the Society “Our Children” Opatija.
