The project “Hummingbirds+” is implemented with the support of the County Primorsko-goranska.
The project aims to contribute to the social integration of children with disabilities and their families through socializing, playing, help in learning. The project aims to point out the need to sensitize and educate the general public about diversity, equality, acceptance, integration, ways of treating children with disabilities and the need to change attitudes through positive experiences. Children and parents are offered:
- Corner for Hummingbirds-creative workshops, workshops for brothers and sisters of children with disabilities “All together”,
“Let’s be friends” joint activities of children with disabilities involved in the project “Hummingbirds+” and councilors of the Children’s of the City Council of the City of Opatija, individual work with children through activities to help grow up. - Parents box – parents’empowerment workshops, library for parents and all those who work with children and for children with professional literature.
