Today we announced the start of another wonderful project!
SOC Opatija in partnership with the City of Opatija, the Municipality of Lovran and the Municipality of Mošćenička Draga has started the implementation of a new project “Parenting through conversation and play” with the support of the Ministry of Demography and Immigration.
Goal:
to provide active support to parents in acquiring parenting knowledge and skills during the early development of children in Opatija, Lovran and Mošćenička Draga by implementing activities aimed at equal parenting, which will contribute to increasing parents’ self-confidence and empowering parents for positive parenting.

Sensory-motor workshops to encourage early development through physio and sensory activities
Lectures for parents
Support groups for parents – peer group
Healthy cooking workshops for parents and children
Socializing with parents of newborn children
