SOC Opatija in partnership with the Union of Societies “Our Children” of Croatia is implementing the project “CHILDREN AROUND US” with the support of the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Croatia.
Through the beauty of photography, the goal of the project “CHILDREN AROUND US” is to show the beauty and richness of diversity that surrounds us. During the project “CHILDREN AROUND US” it is planned to increase information, raise the level of knowledge and awareness of primary school children about children’s rights, identity of national and minority groups living in different Croatian regions, and will result in a beautiful exhibition to be set in Opatija in June and it will travel all around Croatia.
Lea and Zmaj, representatives of the Slovenian national minority, took part in a photo shoot with photographer Saša Pjanić in Veprinac yesterday.
Many thanks to the teachers from Veprinac Primary School, and especially to Ms. Tatjana Bonazza-Čekada and Lena’s grandmother who assisted.
